Born and raised in Rome, he graduated with honors from the Conservatorio di Santa Cecilia in Rome in the classes of Margot Burton and Luca Sanzò and pursued further training at the Haute Ecole de Musique de Lausanne with Diemut Poppen, at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz of Cologne with Alexander Gordon (Zemtsov) and at the Accademia Walter Stauffer of Cremona with Bruno Giuranna. He has furthermore attended masterclasses with Nobuko Imai, Kim Kashkashian, Hartmuth Rohde, Lawrence Power, Lars Anders Tomter, Cynthia Phelps and Wilfried Strehle.

As soloist or chamber musician he has performed all across Europe, in venues such as the Gran Teatro la Fenice of Venice, Kölner Philharmonie, Teatro Ponchielli of Cremona, Teatro alla Scala of Milan, and Teatro Sociale of Como, with such artists as Ton Koopman, Giovanni Sollima, Bruno Giuranna, Karl-Heinz Steffens, Torleif Thedéen, Eszter Haffner, Salvatore Accardo, Francesca Dego, Robert McDuffie, Enrico Bronzi, Franco Petracchi, Alexander Gordon (Zemtsov), Marc Bouchkov, Svetlin Roussev, Yeol Eum Son and Antonio Meneses. Some of his concerts have been recorded for broadcasters such as SWR and RaiRadio3.

Since 2022 he holds the position of Principal Viola of the Orchestra Sinfonica Siciliana and has appeared as Guest Principal with the Orchestra del Teatro La Fenice in Venice, the Orchestre del Teatro Comunale in Bologna, the Orchestra del Teatro Petruzzelli in Bari, the Orchestra del Teatro San Carlo in Naples and the European Union Chamber Orchestra, under the baton of, among others, Sir Antonio Pappano, Esa-Pekka Salonen, Kirill Petrenko, Christoph Eschenbach, Jorma Panula, Andrés Orozco-Estrada, Klaus Mäkela, Jukka-Pekka Saraste, Dalia Stasevska, Sakari Oramo and Charles Dutoit.

He has been supported by the program NeuStart Kultur of the Deutscher Musikrat and by the Associazione Culturale Musica con le Ali, and has been awarded a prize by the Rotary Club Cremona as best student of the Accademia Walter Stauffer. In 2021-2024 he was a scholarship holder of the Foundation Villa Musica Rheinland-Pfalz and since 2018 he is a member of the Lead! Foundation Finland.

He has been Academist of the Zermatt Festival and of the Mahler Chamber Orchestra, and in May 2022 he was invited to participate in the 50th anniversary concert of the Karajan Akademie of the Berliner Philharmoniker, conducted by Kirill Petrenko at the Philharmonie Berlin.
